Passionate to preserve the indigeneous languages in Borneo, we are organising the "Borneo Lingua-Hack", a community based project to take our LANGUAGES DIGITAL through the online open resource platform, Borneo Dictionary.
Powered by MaGIC Co-working Space Sarawak and Borneo744 with our friends from I Love Kuching and Intrtxt, Borneo Lingua-Hack aims to bring together community members from various ethnic groups in Borneo to help build and expand Borneo Dictionary for the benefit of all.
What and Who to Bring
Family, Friends, Dictionaries, Language Guides, Laptop (optional), and of course your GRANDPARENTS too!
(Seriously, they are the ones with the knowledge)
What to Expect
Share, learn and preserve words and phrases from your mother tongue in guided group sessions. The day will also aim to include mixed media to enhance our words with audio, photos and literature. Lunch and giveaways included.
