English: a group of Bidayuh people found in Bau - This group of Bidayuhs live predominantly in the Serambu areas of Bau and the speak a dialect called Serombu. Intelligibility between the Serembu and the Jagoi varieties is quite high where many speakers of both dialects can carry a normal conversation using their respective mother tongue. Differences are mainly pronunciations and a number of lexical items. Their main villages are Peninjau, Bombok, Silumah, Serombou, Kopid and Podam.
